MATELLE / THE DETAILS
Privacy Policy
Your practice is personal. Here’s how information is handled when you use Matelle and this website.
Last updated October 19, 2026
1. Who we are
Matelle provides the Matelle Pilates app and matelle.app. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@matelle.app.
2. Information you provide
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your account identifier and the profile information made available by your sign-in provider, such as your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address.
The app stores your onboarding answers, exercise goals, experience, preferred schedule, available equipment, movement limitations you choose to share, profile settings, and workout and routine history. Some answers may reveal information about your physical wellbeing. Provide only information you are comfortable sharing.
If you contact support, we receive the information and correspondence you send us.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and adapt your practice plan, remember preferences, show progress, synchronize your account, manage subscription access, provide support, and protect the service. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Storage and service providers
Practice data is stored on your device and, after sign-in, synchronized to your Matelle account using Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. RevenueCat processes subscription status, purchase information and app account identifiers so that the app can recognize your access. Apple processes App Store payments; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
Our website is hosted by Vercel and uses Cloudflare for domain and delivery services. These providers may process technical request data, such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, and security logs, to serve and protect the website. Providers may process data outside your country under their applicable safeguards.
Learn more from Firebase, RevenueCat, Vercel and Cloudflare.
5. Analytics, attribution and permissions
The website does not use advertising trackers or optional analytics cookies. The app may use Firebase Analytics and, when enabled in a release, AppsFlyer and Meta for product measurement and advertising attribution. These integrations may process app events, technical information, account identifiers and attribution identifiers. Onboarding health answers, names, email addresses and body measurements are not included in product analytics events.
Where Apple’s tracking permission is required, the app requests it. You can refuse tracking and continue to use the app. You can change permissions in iPhone Settings. Optional practice reminders are scheduled on your device and can be turned off at any time.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep account information while needed to provide your account and the purposes described here. You can delete your account and saved account data from the app’s Settings. Account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it separately in Apple’s subscription settings.
You can also request deletion by emailing us from the email associated with your account. Limited records may be kept where needed for legal obligations, security, resolving disputes or purchase verification. Technical logs and backups may remain for the providers’ normal retention periods.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify account ownership before responding. Where applicable, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing the service you request, consent where required, legitimate interests in maintaining and securing the service, and legal obligations.
8. Children and security
Matelle is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
9. Policy changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through another appropriate notice.
